Hi, some help please!

I have booked an inter rail pass for France only and I don't know how to now go about reserving trains on that pass.
I do not yet have the pass, I assume it will be posted to me closer to the time.
Without the actual pass how do I book the trains I want to take without having to pay for them.
Does that make sense? I know how to reserve trains and pay as a normal passenger but not how to book trains and charge the journey to my pass.
We are arriving in France on11th July and I'm trying to book our first trip from Paris to Chatauroux and I am stuck.

Any help/advice very much appreciated.

Thank you

Laura

Its a corrail teoz so the reservation is €3 and you can book it at any french train station. You can do it up until the train leaves so my advice would be to book when you get to paris

Thank you very much.

Do you know if there is any way of booking trains online before we go or at least in this GB before we leave to go to France?

I just would really like to get a few popular trains booked or is it just case of waiting till I get there?

You could ring up SNCF and theyd do it for you, but probably charge more than the €3 for postage etc. There will be plenty of room, there are lots of trains a day so you will have no problem even if one is full
