Hi,

I heard that it is better to reserve train at ticket booth as online's fee is higher, anyone know if this rumour is true?
We need to reserve several day trains and nite trains (2 trips on EuroNight and 1 trip on CityNightLine) as well, would really appreciate your advice on how long in advance we should reserve train and alternative options = )

Thanks a lot = D

Well, its pretty much impossible to book them online, you can do it by phone but will be charged a service charge/delivery, so the cheapest way to do would be at a main train station. If you know exactly what train you want to be on then you should book as far ahead as is possible, to be on the safe side, but (depending on how busy the route is) a few days before would be safe. Most trains still have space on the day, at least the day before.

If it is a particularly busy route (eg France-Italy on a Friday night in the Summer Holidays) book as early as possible
