Hi, I'm hopefully going travelling around Europe with a month long pass this summer, beginning in Hamburg then going on to Copenhagen and many other places. I want as much as possible to avoid trains which need supplements, but I looked to see if a supplement is required on the EC train from Hamburg to Copenhagen and it says that it is not necessary from Copenhagen to Hamburg, and yet it is from Hamburg to Copenhagen? Could someone confirm is this is correct or not :D

Thanks :D

There are several direct ICE services via Puttgarden - Rodby (ferry).

Hamburg dep 0928 | 1328 | 1525 | 1728
Kopenhagen arr 1411 | 1811 | 2011 | 2211 :arr: on Sat arrivals at Kopenhagen are at xx33 instead of xx11

In summer months some additional trains are running. No reservation needed, alternative free connections available also via Flensburg - Padborg - Fredericia (travel time ~6h30).
