i want to go to belgrade,i live in Athens.
i know there isnt any train directly from Athens i guess..
but i need some information about train timetables from thessaloniki to belgrade and backwards
cause the greek national train site doesnt help me at all.
tthanx :)
any other tip or advice for my trip is welcome.
do i need a visa for example?

there are 2 direct trains a day, via skopje

SiDUDe is right but if you want to be sure and ask more infos don't use website its crap, since you are greek call 1110 the calling center of OSE.
You don't need visa to go to Belgrade but you need a valid passport.
On your way back at the serbian borders they will probably ask you for a paper that will prove where you stayed so if you stay at a hostel be sure to ask for this paper. (not that much problem but just in case)
If you use Balkan Flexi Pass or Interrail ticket i think you don't have to pay anything more so if you want to enjoy the trip reserve a bed since the trip last a little bit longer always.
