Do any of the trains covered by the inter rail go to Belgrade or Skopje?

Yes, but all these trains are ONLY domestic/inland and hence of very small to no value of Passholders. NO trains over the borders there. IF insisting to use rails amap-it will cost you half a day extra for the changes train-bus/taxi/walk-train and perhaps even cost more as just a direct busticket.

Thank you. This is really useful info. I'm not sure the Railcard should be promoting itself as allowing for travel through these countries as it clearly doesnt work

But basically would you say that it's best to start using the traina from Croatia? And they will work ok from there?
