Hi

Been reading Lonely Planet and it mentions thermal spas and baths in Hungary.

Has anyone been to these or know if they are any good?

How do you get there?

Thanks :P

I went to one in Budapest - cant remember the name but it was in Lonely planet. It was easy to get to on the underground. It was really cool, the archetecture was awesome and it wasnt too busy. Got beat bad (and badly burned) playing chess against some hungarians in the pool...

Probably most famous in Budapest are:

The Géllert spa on the Buda side directly at the Szabadság híd or Liberty Bridge.
Accesible with tram 18 41 47 49 and buses.

The Széchenyi spa in the City Park (The oneSiDUDe mentioned).
Accesible with Metro M1 and buses.

Both definitely worth a visit - and not too expensive.

I've been looking into visiting these also, are these two the best ones to visit?
How much do they cost
