Hello there,

We're interrailing this summer on the 30-day global pass. We were wondering when and where to book our hostels.

Do you think it is important to book them in advance? I was browsing some hostel websites and noticed that many of the good hostels are already fully booked, even in not so touristy cities such as Berlin.

And is it easier to book hostels in cities like Bucharest, Budapest and Istanbul at shorter notice?

Many thanks, Josh

How in any way is the capital of Germany not 'touristy'?

Anyway, you can book them online at places like [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/bookingcom[/ux] - In most of eastern europe booking the day before is the way to go, in places like paris, berlin, amsterdam it is worth booking a little earlier

I suppose you're right there...

Thanks very much for the advice.
