i have seen from the route planner that there is a night train from zagreb to prague (D 498 becoming the D 206 then the R 206)
who operates this train and how much would the supplement be? Would you only need to make one reservation, as it says there are no changes.

Thanks very much!!

The train has different numbers because the Zagreb - Prague portion first is part of the D (D-Zug) 498 Zagreb - Salzburg, where this portion is put togheter with a portion from Zurich and runs as D 206 to Prague. In the Czech Republic the designation of the train changes to R (Rychlik = fast train). ;)

It's common for night trains in middle europe that they consist of portions for different destinations and therefore train numbers often change (Sometimes, as in this case the designations also change because some countries have other designations for certain trains).
