Hello,
Relatively naive about realistic travelling times/routes - any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
We have just under a month of travelling time, and will be using the Global travel pass. We are British and therefore will be starting out in Britain - not sure where our first destination will be yet! But we want to include (if plausible): Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Nice, Budapest, Barcelona, Prague ideally...but also would quite like to swing by poland if possible..
Can anyone suggest a route than includes these places? and anywhere decent that happens to be along the way?
NB: we are travelling from the end of august through until mid september

hi ...
if you want to travel from the UK to Amsterdam, think about the ferry Harwich to Hoek van Holland ( https://rail.cc/en/harwich/ferry/c ) and continue from there by free IC to Amsterdam. or use a cheap flight and save some travel days on your ticket.
Amsterdam - Berlin: https://rail.cc/en/train/amsterdam-to-berlin
Think about this way: UK - Amsterdam - Berlin - Prague or Poland - Vienna - Budapest - add here maybe Slovenia or Croatia - Nice - Paris - UK

Paris - Barcenlona - Nice - Italy - Slovenia - Budapest - (Poland) - Prague - Berlin - Amsterdam would make quite a nice trip
Look around the forums for suppliments for overnight trains etc. My suggestion would be to get a normal Eurostar ticket to Paris and start your interrail ticket there, as it often works out cheaper than the IR suppliment. If you havent been to Florence before its pretty cool, as is Ljubljana and the slovenian lakes (Bled, Bohinj) and that breaks up the long trip from Spain a bit. With about a month of travelling time 8-10 places is acheivable. Oh and def finish in 'dam, cheap flights home, and, well, its just a good place to party on down and waste the last remaining cash!
