I am wondering if this trip sounds possible i am on a 10 travel day in 22 days pass and have found train connections for the first half of my trip round eastern europe, i will have 5 travel days left and be in croatia/slovenia, i wanted to end in lagos Portugal to go meet up with some friends and will pretty much happily make my way there just stopping off briefly at places, i wanted to go switzerland, south france, spain portugal (lagos). I am having trouble finding a connection from switzerland to the south of france and everything seems to have a connection in Milano which i would like to avoid as i have already been there. I have been using DB BAHN to check rail times and i will be travelling this part of my journey around the 25th of june. I was just wondering if this second part of my route seems feasable and how i could check more train times,

hi ...
so you say you have 5 travel days and want to travel:
Croatia/Slovenia
Switzerland
South of France
Spain
Portugal (Lagos)

my recommendation:
use the travel planer and travel from Slovenia to Switzerland (Zurich, Geneve). from Geneve you can use the TGV Genève-Mediterranean https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route down to the Montpellier.
Montpellier to Barcelona: use free regional trains along the coast.
Barcelona in direction of Sevilla and then cross the border from Spain to Portugal by bus https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route - in direction of Lagos (again by train).

Peter :)
