Hi there

My girlfriend and I are planning to buy Interrail passes (22 days Continuous). I am a bit concerned about the supplements that need to be paid on certain trains.

We will be starting in Paris and would preferably like to go from Paris to Zermatt. Depending on which trains we book there are atleast 2 changes within the journey, where can i find out the supplement charge for this journey?

Many thanks

Ben

Hi Ben ...

always do it this way:

1) search for the train schedules. there is also mentioned, how to avoid trains with supplements:
Products - Whole journey - without HST/trains with surcharge
https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
you will always find a connection without any supplements !!

2) compare the trains you have to use on your connection with the list of trains listed here. if a train is not listed, it is free of supplements: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation

in your case:
- travel by TGV to Geneve: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
- then by two InterRegio trains to Zermatt: free
