Hello,
I am planing my first interrail tour this summer and i´m looking for a connection between Roma and Firenze.
With the route planner I can find only two connections, one at 6:00 and the other at 19:10. But the first is too early and the second ist too late I think. Can anybody help me? :))

Thanks

Kasa

on the [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] website there is a train every hour (not including the eurostar italia trains) from rome to florence. It is possible that your only looking from termini to campo di marte?

You can get local trains or local public transport to the other main stations in rome (tiburtina) and florence (rifredi)

Hi Kasa ...
it depends on the date you filled in the travel planer. Not all timetables for summer are already online for some rail companies. It usually takes some while. But that's a probelm of the national railway companies to fill the database.
For example try to find connections for the date of tomorrow and you will see you have a lot more connections.
if you use the high speed trains, you have to pay a supplement.
but there are a lot of REGIONAL trains (need 3 hours instead of 1:30h) but are free ... :)
just select on the travel planer the option:
Whole journey: without HST/trains with surcharge
Peter :)

The train EN234 also goes from Rome to Florence. Leaves at 19,10h and arrives at 21.30h. But I supose we have to make a reservetion for a 2nd class seat(5 euros).
My question is: when we travel by a night train(like EN) do we have to make reservation's everytime? For exemple, I'm gonna pay 5euros from ROME to Florence? the same 5euros that I would pay if I continue in that train 3 or 4 stations further? The price is the same whatever the distance?

PS:(Sorry about my English) :os
