Hi guys,

Some basic questions from Russia. We're going to travel by train within UK only (take a flight from Moscow to London).
I understand that Interrail is good for long distance trains, like between Rome and Paris, or from Madrid to Prague... I could you please advise, does it worth to buy an Interrail to use local trains inside UK, for example from London to Oxford, From London to Windsor?

Another question: Did I understand it right that if we buy 6 days within 1 month those 6 days can be not only together, but we may choose any day within whole month, like first day, fifth, twenty first and so on?

Do we receive our Interrail via Mail only? Logically, it would be easier and cheaper to collect our Interrail ticket in London, than send it to Russia via DHL or other service. Is it possible, is there an office of Interrail or something like that?

Thank you in advance!!!

Hi ... :)

UK is expensive for single train journeys. so the XX days within ONE month SINGLE Country Pass for the UK is a good value.
an other good thing: in the UK you don't pay supplements for the trains, except for the night trains - but that's everywhere in Europe.

and yes: you can chose your travel days during your tour. just fill in one of your travel days when you need it. they do not have to be in a row. you are completely flexible.

the best way is to buy your ticket via mail - as in the UK the ticket is not sold by train stations. ||
all the best, Peter :)
