My itinerary is st.gallen- luxembourgh
luxembourgh- Bruxelles (and 1day trips to Ghent)
Bruxelles -Maastricht
Maastricht-Rotterdam
Rotterdam - Amsterdam
Amsterdam- COpehagen.(already booked night-train )
Is there ANything i should really be aware of?

hi Davide ...
the IC Chiasso to Arth Goldau is free of supplements - as long as a train is not mentioned on the supplement website, it is normally free !! :)
pay attention not to use an EC-Cisalpino https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/switzerland/ch from Italy to Switzerland which has a supplement of EUR 5.
there is a direct train from Zuricht to Luxembourg (via Basel, Strasbourg) with no supplements (IC/IR) - try to get into the old Belgian car at the end of the train - in most cases you have one compartment for yourself.
in Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands avoid the THALYS https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/belgium/be which is really expensive!
Peter :)

Thanks Peter for the prompt answer It's great to hear that there's noreservation for that train i' much more relieved(even at a trainstation they told me reservation was compulsory). I'm particoularly cautious because i know the situation in italy it not good, I would not do a interrail in my country)

Hello!
I have one question about the Cisalpino trains and travelling with them in Switzerland. Since the reservation is compulsory in Italy(10€ in Italy and also in international lines), I'm wondering if it's the same in Switzerland, so for example do you have to make a reservation and pay a supplement if you travel from Bern to Basel or not?
Thanks for the answer(s) in advance :) !
Miha
P.S. didn't know where to post the question, so I did here, because there was some talking about making reservations :os

Just to make it clear, the Cisalpino brand has been abolished some time ago - the international trains Switzerland - Italy are now again operated jointly by SBB/Trenitalia. No reservation needed for domestic journeys within Switzerland but for international travel and journeys within Italy. :)

Thank you for the answer, but I still one little question, do you have to pay the reservation fee if you for example travel from Basel/Geneve/Zürich to the first station in Italy (Domodossola/Chiasso)?

From what I can read from the timetables, you will need a reservation when going to Domodossola but wont need one for going to Chiasso. But to be sure, maybe ask locally to get it confirmed by train staff. :)
