Are sneltrains (in Netherlands) free of supplements and reservations (eg from amsterdam airport to amsterdam centraal).

Is it right to assume that is a supplement is not mentioned on this site then the train is free using the global rail pass? :P

Hey,

a Sneltrein is also caled a fasttrain.
It's a trainservice for middle long distance.
In the netherlands there are four important types.
De Stoptrein (Slowtrain, stops at all stations)
De Sprinter (Stops almost all stations but accelerates quicker)
De Sneltrein ( Fasttrain, Stops at about every third station)
De InterCity (IC service, these are the most important trains)

For non of the trains above is a supplement requierd

For the Thalys, ICE en CNL/EN trains there are supplements requierd

Hopefully this is of any help

Greetings from Leeuarden

Erwin
