What do you do with your backpack/luggage?

Hi everyone,

im currently planning my first interrail trip. I'll mainly travel in eastern europe. When I travel with night trains there will be a period where I dont have a place to leave my luggage (from I check out from the hotel/hostel and till the train leaves at around 19-21 á clock).

What do you normally do in such cases? carry the backpack around, or ?
