Hi,

I will travel from Zurich to Prague on inter rail pass.

I will start my journey first time on 13th evening at 22:40 euroline train.
The journey breakup is:-

Zurich HB departure 22:40 (13 April)
Linz arrival 05:54

Linz departure 06:14
Prague arrival 11:41

Can I mark the journey day as 14 April on Inter-rail OR it would be counted as 2 days(13th and 14th) ??

Thanks,
Aayush

hi ...
it counts as ONE travel day - fill in the 14th.
as Zurich to Linz is your night train.
all the best, Peter :)

Thanks for your reply.

But would it not matter that I will start my first travel day journey on 13th April, 22:40 hrs.

On inter rail website:-
Travel cannot begin before 00h01 on the first day of the overall validity period of the Pass. If your first travel day is for example Wednesday 6 August, you cannot use the '7 pm rule' on Tuesday the 5th yet.

Please clarify.

Thanks,
Aayush

If the first day of validity for your pass is say the 6th August, you cannnot use the 7pm rule on the 5th. If your interrail ticket has already started, you could, so you could travel after 7pm on the 6th and put it down as the 7th
