Hello, this will be my first in interrail trip this august/september, planning on going for about 3 1/2 weeks. I am travelling with a friend and are coming from the UK, planning to fly to the first destination.

Planning on visiting Paris, Munich, Prague, Krakow, Budapest, Croatia (possibly zagreb), and Rome (in about this order?) or possibly France at the end, thus we can get on the eurostar to London back home, and fly to munich first off.

If my calculations are correct, it will be about 10 hours (maybe less) on trains between? is this too much to do, my friend and I were planning to travel on night trains.

can you advise me if this is too ambitious, and any other useful suggestions? your help will be much appreciated.

go to slovenia! is my suggestion for everyone, perhaps between hungary and zagreb. Otherwise it looks like a good itinery, very doable in the time if you do a little planning. The eurostar is expensive, it may be cheaper if you still have time on your interrail ticket to get the train to calais and then a boat - there is info on the forums somewhere
