Hi!
Last year i was on a interrail, with a 5 days in 10 days ticket. I was wondering if we have to put all the 5 traveling days on the pass before we get on the train the first day? Or can we put on the dates when we have decided where to go?

Can I fill in the date on the ticket by my self? So theaoretically I could fill in the date when I see a conductor(if he comes)?

you have to fill in the dates by yourself during your tour - whenever you use a train, fill it in your ticket one of your travel days.

Once I was travelling in the summer by train. I made Porto - Aveiro trip. and some foreign girls were writing on a ticket I recognised as the interrail ticket.

Can someone explain to me how does it work? If is the traveller who writes, there must be people who cheat on the dates.

the tickets get checked on the train, so the inspector would see what the date written is...
