Hello guys. I'm Ares, and live in Kosovo, which according to InterRail is Serbia, so I live in Serbia.
I've always liked travelling a lot, and started going to some places by myself. I went to Scandinavia, Switzerland (and Lichtenstein), and to other Balkanic countries, but payed well on motels and planes and all that stuff.
Now frankly I'm not experiencing my best time with money, yet I am planning to travel this year in a cheaper way, since I may have a bit of money after I get admitted to university this June.
Anyway, this time the thing is that I am intending to visit a bit of more places, and alongside with me I got a friend , so I kinda am not into luxury.
Checking out on all the information, maybe because of my foolish brain, I am not being able to be sure about everything I read, so I figured that it would be nice to ask to the guys who do travel and do know the stuff :) .
We would like to see Vienna, Venice, Paris, Brussels and Geneva. Not being 100% sure of what we want and we can manage to do, me and my friend want to live the cheapest possible life and see the maximum, so I'd like your help.
What is the thing with global pass? If we get it, do we get the right to enter each country, or should we pay other passes too? We're in the middle of getting a 10 on 22, or 22, what would you say?
How realistic does it sound, and what would you prefer, to un-rich total first-timers?
With my best regards
Ares

Addition:
I may either start from Macedonia or Albania, because under these circumstances we are not allowed to enter Serbia. Plus the thing is that living in a 3rd world european country, we actually need schengen visas for this places. Are all of them schengen countries?
We are thinking of July as the month of this trip.

Im not sure what the deal is with Switzerland, you may need another visa. All the others you mentioned are in Schengen.
The best way to go for you as you have to avoid Serbia would probably to get a boat from Durres to Italy, and maybe come back through croatia/montenegro.
Unfortunately you have chosen some of the most expensive places in Europe to visit, so its not gonna be that cheap, but you should be able to do it on a 5 days in 10 pass, if you start the pass in Italy and plan carefully

Thanks for the information. Appearantly Switzlerand is in Schengen agreement too Schengen's newest member is Switzerland which joined the Area on 12 December 2008.
If I get the global pass, what additional payments should be made except the living, which consists of sleeping and eating :) . I am interested in the musts, all the extras depend on the following months, and if I get lucky, I may even have a better trip than I am already planning, yet I would like to know like the minimal requirements om order to prepare the financial plan.

you have to add supplements for some high-speed-trains. all are listed:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
have a look on the train schedules of Europe. you will in most cases find a train connection without any supplements: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
also if you want to use a night train, you have to pay for your bed - but you save the costs for a hostel. some of them are listed here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train
