hi Rui ...

something very important when travelling in a group wit not too much travel days:
- night trains: buy the reservations early in advance, otherwise you won't get enough seats. book it either directly at the rail companies (you have to do it in most cases by phone) or if possible at a big station in Portugal.
- the same for the day trains which need a reservation, as there are only limited seats for InterRailers available.

this will be the case at:
Paris - Brussels: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/paris-to-brussels
Brussels-Amsterdam you can do with a free IC - https://rail.cc/en/interrail/brussels-to-amsterdam
Amsterdam-Berlin: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/amsterdam-to-berlin
Berlin - Prague: no problem by day train - https://rail.cc/en/interrail/berlin-to-prague
Prague - Vienna: no problem - https://rail.cc/en/interrail/prague-to-vienna
Vienna - Budapest: no problem by day train - https://rail.cc/en/interrail/vienna-to-budapest
Budapest - Venice: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/budapest-to-venice
Italy: pay attention to the supplements - https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/italy/it
Spain: pay attention to the supplements - https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/spain/es
Madrid - Lisbon: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/madrid-to-lisbon - the best for you will be to use a bus, as Portugal is your country of residence and you can not travel for free. and the supplement for the night train is expensive.

for 5 travel days it is a lot ...I would skip Brussels and Amsterdam, maybe just fly directly to Berlin and make a stop on your way from Budapest to Venice in Split or somewhere at the Croatian coast...

all the best, Peter :)
