My Country of residence (cor) is the Netherlands. If i intend to travel from Utrecht to Basel by night train, do you have to pay the normal fares, with supplements etc? Because I just heard of the cor-rule. Can someone tell me if I just have to pay the normal fares, appropriate for the night trains??

And the way back I come from Frankfurt to Utrecht by ICE 126. Is that a normal fare-free train? Also in my cor? What, eventually, are the fares you have to pay for the ICE trains in your cor?

Thank you!
Tom

Hi Tom.
You will have to pay the reservation for the night train (like you always have to do it) and a normal train ticket with a 50% discount from Utrecht to the Netherlands border:

When you left your country, you travel for free - even when it's a night train and you cross the border during the night while sleeping. :)
The same for your way back.
All the best, Peter :)
