hi! I would like to ask if you know the amount of money I will need to travel with a friend on a 22day continuus pass. This journey includes countries such as italy, france, spain, ireland,netherlands,czech republic and finland and our plan is to stay in hostels but with private room ensuite. we are travelling in mid july. thank you in advance.

calculate it like this per person:
- stay in a hostel (double bed room with toilet and shower): EUR 25-35
- food: EUR 10-15
- extras like sightseeing, going to music clubs, ... EUR 10
- supplements for high-speed-train or night trains: EUR 5 (as you won't use it every day)
so you have in total: something like EUR 60 per day ... but then you have a comfortable live ... in cities of Western Europe you will pay much more of course and this is only a simple calculation out of my personal experiences to have a first impression.

Wooooouuu! This trip is going to be far more expensive than my budget can take! Hope I could stay in non private rooms but my friend can't. :( anyway..thank you so much for your help! Take care!

it's like that... double rooms are expensive... just test the link I mentioned... if you are staying more in the eastern part of Europe, it will be much cheaper!! :)
