Hello,

i will be traveling this summer/fall to italy. about 10 days there , plus 2 days for the airplane trips.
what bag size do you recommend for 12days? Last year i traveled for 7 days with a 20Litre backpack, it wasn't enough, no space for book, water.
I'm not taking too much (no tent, no sleeping bag, just clothes and guide book). is it 30/32/35 litre ok?
I was thinking :))
Deuter Futura 30SL - 62cm/ 34cm/ 23cm - 88 EUROS
Deuter Futura 32SL - 64 cm/ 34 cm/ 24 cm - 90 EUROS
Deuter Act Lite 35+10SL - 64 cm/ 37 cm/ 25 cm - 120 EUROS

The size is almost the same.
i dont want a heavy bag because of my back. :D
any help?
thanks

thanks

I allways have 2 bags: small to walk with him during a day and big which during a day wait for me in locker.

I am just wondering if anyone has any experience with Sierra backpacks, because I found a nice one on amazon.

amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000OZE7LE/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance#moreAboutThisProduct

As I read everyone is suggesting a backpack with the capacity 65 litres and I guess it should be enough, though am a bit worried about packing when I'll go :D .

I just want to buy a backpack that'll be also for some trips to the seaside for 2 weeks to stuff all things in and would like to know if it's really a big difference if I get a 75 litres big one?

sounds good the one you selected! :)
I recommend 65 liters - otherwise it is just to much to carry and no fun walking to a hostel for 2 kilometres...

65 litres is more than enough, as long as you are strict with what you pack. If you can, try on the pack to see if it fits before you buy it though
