Hello,
we want to make a journey through europe and we have some questions about the interrail ticket.
1. Can we buy the ticket only 90 days before we start our journey?
2. we want to start in nuremberg and travel to paris, what tickets do we need?
3. must I buy a extra ticket to travel through germany?
thank you :P

hej hej ...
here are your answers:

1) you can buy the ticket up to 90 days in advance... but you can also buy it only 10 days in advance ... depends on you ... I recommend it to order the official ticket online via [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] two weeks in advance - so you get the ticket by secure mail, even if the post man has a bad day... ;) but normally delivery is much faster!! :)

2) as Germany seems to be your country of residence, you can not travel for free in Germany. you only get a normal ticket discounted 50%. this might be expensive to reach the border.
solution for you:
- with the Länderticket Bayern of the DB cross Bavaria to the Austrian and start from there. it is 18 for one person and 28 EUR for up to 5 persons, only valid in regional trains.
- or buy a special price ticket online at the DB website. there you can get a ticket for 29 EUR (book early enough) from Nuremberg to the German French border.
- also a solution is to book a CNL night train Munich to Paris early enough... then you can get seats for 19 EUR from Munich. you even do not need then your InterRail ticket to reach Paris. you can stay then 2 days in Paris and start then from there your InterRail tour. details are here: citynightline.de

3) yes you have. you will get a 50% discounted normal train ticket. not so niche, especially as German traveler - as Germany is in the middle between Northern and Southern Europe ... but these are the rules. :(

have a good time and a lot of fun on your tour, Peter :)
