Hi, all!

I'm going on a trip with a 5 days in 10 days pass... and after reading all of the useful info on this site, some questions still need some clarification for me :)

When I see, for instance, that there is a supplement of 5€ for an intercity train in Italy, does it mean that I have to pay just this amount of money? No surprises after that?

Second and third questions appeared when I've read this:

For holders of an InterRail Pass with flexible validity, the use of a free travel bonus can only occur on a day of which the date has been filled in into the calendar. Please note that the use of a reduction does not require the use of a travel day of a ‘flexi’ pass.

What is a free travel bonus?
What kind of reduction ae they talking about? :) Is it for ferries and stuff?

Thank you!!!

here are the answers... :)

1) nothing more. only the 5 EUR
2) such things like free entry in the railway museum ... you won't need it
3) yes ferries... if I understood it right. :)

have fun, Peter :)
