Hi,
I am going with my wife and 2 kids (3 year + 1 year) on a trip from 01-Mar.
I have a few questions and I hope someone will be able to answer them.
I have an interrail global pass valid for 5 days in 10 days.
I also have special reservations for TGV, Thalys and City Night Trains.
The itinerary and corresponding questions are as follows:
01-Mar: Amsterdam Schiphol -> Paris Nord by Thalys (I need to get to Marne la Vallee-Chessy from Paris Nord).
Q1: Do I need to buy separate tickets to travel from Paris Nord to Disneyland Paris?
We are spending 4 days in Paris. Out of these 4 days, we need to go from Disneyland to Paris center on two days (not consecutive).
Q2: What kind of tickets I need to buy for these two days?
05-Mar: Paris Disney -> Interlaken West by TGV and IC
We plan to go to Jungfrau (I hope I spelt it correct) and Schilthorn on 06-Mar and 07-Mar
Q3a: Can we use the interrail global pass for these trips?
Q3b: If not, is there any discount for pass hodlers?
Q3c: If there is a discount, will it be counted as using a day in the global pass?
We plan to take a round-trip train from Interlaken to Luzern and back to Interlaken on either 06-Mar or 07-Mar
Q4a: Can I use the global pass for this round-trip?
Q4b: If not, is there any discount for pass holders?
Q4c: If there is a discount, will it be counted as using a day in the global pass?
On 07-Mar, we travel by train at 20:06 from Interlaken to Basel.
From Basel, we take the City Night Train to Amsterdam at 22:07 and reach Amsterdam on 08-Mar at 09:00.
Q5: Since I am also taking a local train from Interlaken to Basel, it will be counted as two days (07-Mar and 08-Mar). Is my understanding correct?
Please let me know about it.
Thanks & Regards,
Sunil

hi Sunil...
here are some answers for you...
1) if you travel from Paris Nord to Disneyland Paris you have to do this by RER (belongs to the metro system of Paris). this is not free. you have to pay the normal fare.
but if you come down from Brussels by Thalys in direction of Paris, the Thalys train normally stops at Marne-la-Vallée , which is the station of Disneyland Paris. so no changes in Paris, no need of RER and you save time !! :)
2) just use this link... where you also find specials to Disneyland Paris. you need an extra ticket for the Paris Metro and RER system: www.ratp.info/touristes/index.php?langue=en
3) no discounts on the Jungfraujoch Bahn. :( as it is a special railway which do not belong the European railway system. for details: https://rail.cc/en/jungfraujoch/f1841
as you do not get a discount, you do not need a travel day.
4) it is two travel days, as the train Interlaken to Basel is not a night train.
and you use it on the 7th. so you need a travel day for the 7th and one for the 8th.
the 8th is the night train Basel to Amsterdam which counts as ONE travel day (rule of the night trains: direct night train leaving after 1900h)
solution for you:
- to buy a normal rail ticket. your two kids are free as much as I know. but for one adult the fare is something about EUR 35 from Interlaken to Basel. for the details: www.sbb.ch
I hope this will help you ... !! :)
have fun and all the best, Peter :)
