OK...I may be being very naive here but for 4 skint students the interrail ticket really does seem too good to be true and we have a few questions...well...possibly alot of questions if we can remember them all. We live in England, and were planning to get the ferry across to Rotterdam, travel down through Belgium, eastern France, the east coast of Spain and visit relatives in Nerja before making our way back through the centre of the countries to get England via the Channel Tunnel.
Firstly, as we live in England, is it valid on all trains here?
Can we travel on the eurostar train through the channel tunnel?
We were planning on the 22 day continuous global ticket, so can we just hop on and off the trains whenever we please between 0001 and 2359 on the seperate days of travel?
Are night trains included in the ticket or do we have to pay a supplement for those?
Do we have to have any validation (we noticed it mentioned a few times on your website)?
And finally, (I think), can you see any issues with buying the global ticket for the route we have planned?
If we can travel on the Eurostar and through Britain it would save us so much money in the long run so it would be a great help if you could answer these questions.
Many, many, many thanks,
Luke, Evee, Lisa and Yoda

You get a discount in your home country I think (not sure on this though, its def not free)
The Eurostar suppliment is so expensive you can buy a ticket without interrail cheaper if you book far enough in advance
Most night trains have a suppliment, and see the rules of night trains thread for info on how many days taking a night train takes up on your ticket. If you look at each of the country forums you will see a lot of information on the suppliments that need o be payed for fast/night trains.

Eurostar and ferry UK - France: https://rail.cc/en/train/london-to-paris
Normally you get a discount in your country of residence to reach the border. But the UK is one of the countries you don't get any discount. :( Maybe reflect about a cheap flight... Ryanair or Easyjet to leave the UK ... :)

Thank you for the information...this trip is actually getting cheaper all the time, it's good to talk to slightly more seasoned travellers (we're pretty new at this...well...it's our first time =D)
The InterRail ticket still seems a little too good to be true!!
