Hello I am Alex, i am from Russia.
I am planning my first trip in Europe. This is my route: Saint-Petersburg-Helsinki-Stockholm-Copenhagen-Amsterdam(Utrecht, Rotterdam)-Brussel(Gent, Brugge)-Lille-Bordeaux(Arcachon)-Marseille(Toulon,
Avignon)-Nice-Monaco-Milan-Koln-Berlin-Malmo-Stockholm-Helsinki-Saint-Petersburg :)
When i planned route i used this site: plannerint.b-rail.be
And i have a question: Copenhagen-Amsterdam in details of this route i saw many trains which i need to change
between Copenhagen and Amsterdam for example:
Koebenhavn H Dortmund Hbf
Dortmund Hbf Duisburg Hbf
Duisburg Hbf Viersen
Viersen Venlo
Venlo Eindhoven
Eindhoven Amsterdam Centraal
What its mean????? I have to leave train and walk to another train or change only engine and i continue to sit on my place????
Sorry if my question so stupid :os and Sorry for my terrible English :os
P.S. If you have any advices or wishes about my trip or route please write me I`ll very glad :D

for Copenhagen to Amsterdam I recommend you to use the direct night train without any changes.
Dep. Copenhagen: 18:53h
Arr. Amsterdam: 10:29h
for the supplements of a bed (it is really cheap !!): https://rail.cc/en/train/copenhagen-to-amsterdam

Personally i prefer a day train from copenhagen to amsterdam its a nice journey, especially the ferry crossing from Rodby(DK) to Puttgarden(D), the train goes into the ferry as well quite a experience.
here is a timetable that involves only to change 3 times:
dep. Copenhagen: 07:42
arr. Amsterdam: 19:01
ICE 38 from Copenhagen to Hamburg arr 12:16
12:36 from Hamburg to Hannover ICE 589 from 6a/b arr 14:23
14:40 from Hannover to Hilversum IC 144 from 12 arr: 18:37
18:41 from Hilversum to Amsterdam Centraal IC 1562 from 5 arr: 19:01
