I'm an exchange student from Hong Kong who arrived last month at UK.
I got a 1-year UK student visa in my HK passport.
Since I did not live in europe for last six months, i wonder if i can buy the interrail ticket.
Thanks~

Hi.
You need a six months stay in an European country on the first day of validity of your InterRail pass.
Even if you have a student visa for one year, you need this six months stay... sorry. These are the official rules.
Interrail: https://rail.cc/en/interrail
Check here if you need Interrail or Eurail: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-rules
Right now you can only travel by EURAIL which is nearly the same like InterRail.

Hi, I am another exchange student coming to the UK as well.
However, I will have been staying in the UK for more than 6 months when I start my tour in East and I do have a 1 year student visa as well. However, during my 6-month stay in the UK, I went out the country a couple of time to visit other places.
So, am I eligible to use the pass?
Thanks

Hi.
Yes you are eligible to use the InterRail pass. the important thing is that your country of residence is within Europe. if you went back for a two weeks holiday to your parents country, or go to the beaches of Greece for one week is not important. important is the place of your centre of your live - the place you normally live and study! :)
So no problem for you to buy the pass with your visa or permit of residence printed/attached to your passport.
Have fun, Peter :)
