Hello,
I'm thinking about travel to bulgaria and in the europe map i see 2 cities: sofia and varna.
What do you think about this 2 cities? Anymore places to visit?

Veliko Tarnovo and Rila are the obvious ones - Plovdiv is meant to be nice but ive never been

Vidin is quite good, there's a nice castle and the Danube flows thorough it, I think the trains run there, if not you can catch buses very cheaply. And from Vidin you can see Belogradchik (stunning views and big rocks) and there are some magnificent caves nearby- again I think you can get there by bus.

hi there :) I`m from Bg ... It depends on what are you looking for..
There are places full of history like Plovdiv, Asenovgrad, Veliko Tarnovo, Batak ...
places where you`re in paradise Rila mountain ( Rila Lakes ) Pirin mountain, Rodophes mountain. Irakli, Kara dere, Sinemoretz ( The black sea shore ).
from 29-31 May there is a festival with chill out music , vegy food, shiny peope :)
and one more on August with dnb, chill out, bagpipes, workshops, bikes, old bulgarian games, picking herbs ...
