Peter
Sorry if this is stupid but i've tried looking a bit for it and i can't understand this
there are two journey's in my mind
1)Koln to berlin by ICE 857
2)Berlin to Munich by ICE 1719
now on the main website it reservation is not compulsory for ICE trains (they are for ICE france - germany but this isn't that one)
But then on the route planner it says under the results
Subject to supplement, high occupancy to be expected, please reserve, Bordrestaurant
What's the supplement, if there is one?? please :(
i hope there isn't any! :P
Thanks

Sorry and one more thing
Munich to Prague - I came across this train
Länderbahn und Vogtlandbahn GmbH
What kind is it? High speed? Does it need reservations or supplements?
Thanks

hej hej ... good news:

1) free of supplements
2) free of supplements
a supplement is only necessary when travelling on a normal rail ticket - but with InterRail it is free of supplements.
maybe select an other time of the day because ICE trains are often full in peak times (=high occupancy to be expected).

the VogtlandBahn is a regional train and free of supplements. :)
