Hey!!
I'm planning on going interrailing this summer from mid july to mid august and I was wondering if anyone knows of any good festivals on at that time across central or eastern europe?? At the moment we're looking into the Benicassim festival in Spain, has anyone been before and if so what's it like?? Also if anyone knows of any good places to bungee jump or sky dive that would be great!!
Thanks!! :D

Hoi!
I have heard the best for Benicassim and i am thinking about going this year...
Last years i combined inter rail with Sziget Festival in Budapest which is 6 days festival at early August and the week ticket for camping costs around 150 euros.
About sky dive i know that its relatively cheap in Bulgaria and a good place for bungee jumping is Isthmos at Korinthos Greece.
That's my tips for eastern Europe / Balkans.

The Exit/Benicassim double would do you well. Exit is cool, quite cheap and is 10 this year, and ive heard nothing but good things about Benicassim.
Exit is under £100 for 4 days, including camping for a week

Hi...me and my boyfriend will be interrailing in July and origionally planned to go to Bennicassim, but after Exit being recommended by many, we are more inclined to tdo his one as it suits our route in travelling from Budapest to Novi Sad! Anyone have any info on accomodation...(cheap hostels/hotels for a couple to share in a good location? rooms are going fast!!!) we're happy to splash out abit more one this one as it'll have to be prebooked-I can't find details of any line-up yet either-anyone know whos gunna be there? are we making the right choice in choosing Exit over Beni? :| cheers, Kath

There were rooms available when we got there the day before the festival so i wouldnt worry about it (im not sure what they were like, we camped) I think moby and some of the after 2 main stage djs have been anounced (skream/benga etc) but none of the headliners. It should be big this year since its the 10th anniversery.
And no, you are not making a mistake. When you see the dance arena in the moat you will know why exit is so special. Unfortunately due to work i cant go this year, :( , so bestival will have to do ... kraftwerk!! :P

Me and my mates are going to Soundwave Festival in Zadar, Croatia. Worked out at about £55 each for 3 days!

Went to Garden in Petrcane, Zadar (im guessing its in the same place, they have loads of festivals there) and it was amazing, such a beautiful location for music

We werent interrailing for that part of the trip so got the bus down from Zagreb to Zadar. There is then a bus every hour to Petrcane. It was beautiful, if your camping I can recommend Mira Camp (just ask around when you get there) Its a bit of a walk from the festival site, but its a walk around the bay, so its no chore!
