hi, im planning on travelling europe by train in the summer but im trying to weigh up if its cheaper to get a global pass or buy each journey seperatly because i know the route i want to take.
iv worked out so far its cheaper to buy seperate tickets by about £70,
but do you still have to pay supplements and reservation charges on top of individual prices like you do with the interail pass? ;)

if you buy a ticket from A to B at a station, you normally get the ticket ready to use. so no extra supplements.
single tickets can be useful when travelling short distances on a planed route and to fixed times. :)
have fun, Peter :)
