How safe will these be for two 18 year old girls with no real previous experience of Vienna or Prague interrailing for the first time? Any advice?

hej hej ...
it will be safe... it is like every big European city... like Paris, London, ... in every city you have dark corners where you don't feel good to go ... but on the main tourist places there is absolutely no danger... even for two 18 year old girls....
okay... pickpockets are everywhere in the world... also in Prague and so on ... :)
