Hi

Next summer, I'll be off again. I am looking at the Transcantábrico line in the north of Spain, from El Ferrol all the way to Hendaye. I read that this is not covered by the pass. I don't want to go on the luxury train on this line, rather the cheapest option with local trains if there is no discount. Any information would be great.

Also the EuskoTren, what is the situation on InterRail tickets here?

Hi.

The Transcantábrico train is a special tourist train. Luxurious and expensive... not included in InterRail.
You have to calculate EUR 300 to 400 per day. :o

The Euskotren is not included in Interrail, but very cheap. San Sebastian via Bilbao to Hendaye is about EUR 5. Information and prices at their website euskotren.es

Peter :)
