Hi Peter.

I am in need of some help how to count the days of travel.

I am planning to buy this interrail pass which is 5 days of traveling within a total of 10 days.

I am going from Paris, france the 24th of October to Stockholm, sweden.
The 29th I will go to Mariestad in Sweden, the 31st I will go to Malmö in Sweden and on the 1st of november I´ll go to Brussels.

SO: the timeplan: from Paris 21:55 the 24th arriving in Stockholm the 25th at 19:40 (this counts as one day of travel, the 25th, right?)

the 29th to Mariestad, sweden one day of travel

31st to malmö, sweden one day of travel

1st nov, from malmö to brussels,
leaving at 18.02
arriving at 10:01 the 2nd nov

(is this also counted as one day of travel, the 2nd nov ?)

so in total 4 days of travel, do you know if i got it all right?

thank you for your help,
Robin

hej William ...

when the first day your ticket is valid is the 24th of October, then fill in the 25th in your ticket when going from Paris to Stockholm (1st day)

29th Mariestad (2nd)

31st Malmö (3rd)

Malmö to Brüssels: 2 travel days as leaving by train in Malmö before 1900.

but in total: 5 travel days then ! :)

if you want to leave Malmö later to safe one travel day, use the Berlin-Sweden night express:

and then continue in the morning from Berlin to Brussels (ICE are free of supplements in Germany!!)

have fun, Peter :)
