Hey all,

We're trying to plan a trip, and on the website here, under ferries, there's a connection from Bergen to New castle with DFDS, but on their own website, it's not mentioned at all. Does anyone know if it's still active?

If not, is there a good way to get from Bergen to europe without going through Denmark (our own contry which we need to pay for)?

hej hej ...
you are right, on their booking system the route is not available any more ... a bit strange. as their official ferry schedule says that the route is available: www.dfdsseaways.de

maybe the best is to call them.

an other possibility is the cheap night train from Sweden (Malmö) to Berlin. so you can avoid Denmark. for more details:

all the best, Peter :)

great, thanks a lot Peter... We'll look into it when we come that far, It just seems a bit like double trip if we go all the way Bergen, and then go back again the same way, would be nice to take the ferry to UK from there...
