Hi,
A Bunch of friends and myself are hoping to go interrailing next year, but to be honest we don't really know where to start and what to do.
At the moment the plan starts as catching the eurostar to paris and spending the first night and/or couple of days there, but thats as far as we've got!
Any advice etc. on what we need to do?
Thanks a lot

Hi.
Read a little bit in the country topics https://rail.cc/en/countries here at the forum, or buy a Lonely Planet https://rail.cc/en/information to get a first overview. There are so many place to see in Europe. For the beginning it is often very interesting to visit a lot of countries but not in detail. And on your second tour, you already know which country you like most ... then you can do it in detail. :)
I hope this will help y little bit ! :)

Thanks very much, I had a look around the website after I did the post and found some interesting/useful stuff
Due to the amount of countries in Europe two trips might be a thing top think about later on in the future!

by the way... here are two of my preferred day trips:
Sweden - Inlandsbanan: https://rail.cc/en/inlandsbanan/f1333
France - Petit Train Jaune: https://rail.cc/en/train/latour-de-carol-to-villefranche-de-conflent
