First time interraillers (lol) hoping to do this June or September next year. Don't really have much of a clue at the moment about planning routes etc, but we do know these are the places we'd like to visit and that we'd be prepared to use night trains as much as possible rather than staying in hostels to fit everything in and possibly spending around two days in each place. We would be travelling with the full global pass, but still wondering if this would be too adventurous :|

Amsterdam
Berlin
Dresden
Prague
Budapest
Salzburg
Venice
Rome
Milan
Zurich
Geneva
Paris

Any advice would be appreciated,

Cheers guys

just a short information.... as I am travelling as well right now ... you can absolutely do this route ... maybe also have a look at a short visit in Sweden (Berlin-Malmö/Sweden-Express ... very cheap for a night!!) ... and Croatia is nice as well.
have a look at the country topics here at the forum ... there you will find all the details (and fares) of night-trains. just select the country you want to travel in...! :)
all the best and a sunny tour, Peter :)

Hi folks, we're now thinking of adding Romania (for Transylvania) and Morocco also stopping at Innsbruck for some Snowboarding.. :P

Please advise if this is possible and what's the best route to take??

Thanks Han and Ian

that's a ridiculous amount of places in a month!
two completely full (travel free) days per place to get a rough feel for somewhere...morocco and romania is perhaps pushing it..
make sure you're in berlin at a weekend and don't stay in Generator hostel, no matter how cheap it looks...
prague is horrible, touristy and everyone tries to rip you off- krakow is far nicer and budapest more interesting still.
rome is amazing, you'll need at least 3 or 4 days, while milan is easily missable and venice is overwhelmingly expensive.
hope this adds something to your prep, hope u have an awesome time...
