Hi
1 main question that can be broken down into a few!
How easy is the ticket to use?....

Me and 2 friends want to do a circle of europe over a couple of weeks in the 2nd half of september.
Was thinking of flying to paris and back but as far as trains go..
Is there a limited choice of trains that will be all booked up or is it a matter of walking in the station choosing the train dependant on location and hopping on with a flash of the ticket?

any help much appreciated!

thanks in advance

hi Marc ....

InterRail is really EASY ...! Read here: https://rail.cc/en/first-time-interrail

there are some things which are important for you:

1) chose your trains.

2) and try to avoid the trains for which you have to pay supplements. you will always find connections without supplements. information about trains for which you have to pay supplements: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation

3) if you want to save a hostel, try a night train ... the aren't really expensive (okay ... some are expensive - but you don't need them). just scroll down in the forum to the country topics, select the country you want to travel in... and there you will find information about the night trains. :)

4) feel the freedom... don't plan to much ... after 3 or 4 days you will get the feeling ... you relax and just jump into a train ... travel ... sleep somewhere ... find a shower somewhere ... it is great ...! :)

have a lot of fun on your tour and all the best, Peter :)
