Hi guys,

just one tiny question. I read the thread about night trains and on which condictions it only counts as one travel day but I'll ask anyway just to be completely sure.

A friend and I are arriving in Paris the 19th of September. We'll spend the day there, and then we'd like to take the Ellipsos train from Paris to Madrid at around 7.40 pm. It'll be our first day actually using the interrail pass. So we won't be able to make it count as one travel day, right?

Thanks a lot!
Kimberly

hi ...
you can travel with ONE travel day when your ticket is valid from the 19th of September. then you can use the rule-of-1900 and fill in your pass the 20th of September as travel day.
if your ticket starts the 20th (this is the first day your ticket is valid) you can not use the night train starting the 19th in Paris.
Peter :)
