peter hi ..
first of all,as you can see i am new here ..
you are from greece ?? i dont know if i can speak to greek,or i must speak on english so everybody would understand,i dont know rules of the site ..
i want to go at the end of november in beograd and after in budapest ..
how long it will take from athens to go in beograd ?? it is worthy to take the interail pass ??
if i buy it then i will not pay anything else except of my interail pass ?? because at the prices for thessaloniki to beograd you have one price with IR and another with no IR .. i thought if you buy IR then you dont have to pay anything else for your trip ..
and whats the difference between 15days continuous ticket and 10 days within 22 days ?? why it is more expensive the first one ??
sorry for so many questions ..

Hi.
I am from Germany - and the language of the forum is English. :)
If you only want to travel from Athens to Beograd, a normal train ticket will be the cheaper solution for you. as InterRail is a rail PASS - not a one-to-one ticket. It is made to travel around a little bit.
With InterRail you will have to pay sometimes supplements, like for example for night trains. It depends of the category of bed/seat you chose.
But it is the same for normal train tickets: you pay the basic fare and then you have to add the supplement for the type of bed/seat you want.
Please read this topic for more information about InterRail in general: https://rail.cc/en/first-interrail-tour/f3303
- 15 days continuous is more expensive because you have 15 days to travel (within a period of 15 days).
- 10 days in 22 days is cheaper as you have only 10 days to travel (within a period of 22 days)
No problem to ask, that's the reason why we have this forum .

thank you for your first informations ..
no i have plans to do more road except of athens-beograd,thats why i want interrail pass,so i suppose the best for me is to take the 10 days travel within 22 days, because i am planning to go at many places ..
i can buy IR from some spot in athens or only through internet ?? it has any difference in price,if i will buy it from a spot in athens ??
and it does matter if i book my IR pass 2 months before my trip or 1 day before ??

The 10 in 22 is the best solution for a nice InterRail trip. As to be honest: you won't travel every day.
I am not sure if you can buy the pass somewhere in Athens. Pay attention at travel agencies to get a correct one.
If you order online, you support our work and as well your answers and not only an anonymous company.
