Ferry Bari to Patras with Eurail Pass

I will be travelling in October. I am confused by the Superfast web site. Can I book online with the Eurail pass or is it better to turn up on the day at the port? What is the procedure?

Thanks for your quick reply. I had at one time thought thatEurail Global Pass holders travelled free on the ferry but it seems that there is only a 30% discount.
