Hello everyone,
I will be traveling through Eastern Europe on my Interrail pass and then back to my home country for a week. This will use up the inbound and outbound trips. Can I still use the Interrail pass afterwards and travel abroad with a separate ticket and then use Interrail again?

Regards,
Julian

This has been asked in various ways lower down on the forum. The basic rule allows it, the mobile pass may give problems, and which country/town you live, with which border points for home country will be used all affect it. It would be simpler and may be cheaper to pay for the first journey border-home and second home-border. Just make sure you know which station is the tarif border.

Thanks for this. I saw that it was already asked and answered several times, also at the official Interrail site, but there was no really consistent answer. I will do my first trip with the inbound and outbound ticket and then see if the problem still exists on the second trip.
