I have a two months eurail ticket and I would like to travel more times and spend time in my country of origin in the time inbetween, in Holland. Is this possible? Somehow the information about that is confusing to me. Thank you so much for your information.

As Arend7 says you can travel on 2 different days WITH THE PASS. You can return to the border every night if you wish but will have to buy tickets from the there to home and then back to the border on all other days. If you have the mobile pass it can get messy if the second free travel in home country day isn't the final travel day. If a border crossing journey uses a German ICE/IC/EC train it might be cheaper to buy the ticekt from them in advance and from a station in Germany instead of the border - don't ask why, but it can be a lot cheaper!
