I've just received a reservation ticket for a train from zurich to munich (train EC 193). On the reservation it says that the seats are in coach 305. What does this mean? I assume there aren't 305 coaches!
Also on another ticket it has booked us on seats 85 and 86, which it says are two window seats, which sounds a bit odd also....any ideas?!

Coaches aren't numbered from 1 and up, I don't think there's a real system. It's usually not hard to find your coach quickly, so don't worry.
I don't know about the window seats :-)

maybe the seats are of a group of 4 seats and a table in the middle and you have the both seats at the window. :)
and about the cars... like hni said: the cars will start with number 300 and end with number 310 ... so you will find it ...! :)
