Is the ticket for this trainrail tripe several days valid f.i. a week.
We want to stop at several locations / trainstations and do an overnight and see the city.
Is that possible?

NO-AFAIK in NO since they reorganised the whole trains thing, its simply a ticket for A to B on date X with train Y-and to be used in a certain timeframe for UNreserved regional trains (which only do the sections close to main towns).
There are in fact not that many see-worthy stops between O and Tr (maybe Hamar-from the ice-skating). The very long stretch in the middle is simply-nothing. Sights on mountains.
The ALT is a railpass-but passdays from an Inter/EUrail tend to cost still more as fairly short sections in very expensive Norway
