Buying train tickets in advance

Depends on the train-the faster ones maybe 30 days-if lucky and you really cannot suprress youre apparently extreme stress-normal people do it the day of travel. I dont think there is even any discount in Greece to do that.
Why do people really think trains must/should be booked so long advance?

In some countries, train tickets can be purchased in advance. Helpful when you have a large group.
