I want to go by air from Bergen in Norway to New York and then travel from New York via Chicago and Vancouver to San Francisco by train and/or bus, and then return to Bergen, in September 2023. I am a senior / visual artist (photo and video - https://www.sensistens.no/) and will travel alone. Please give me advise!

Via Chicago: "Broadway Limited" eller "Twin cities" New York - Chicago, "Empire Builder" Chicago - Seattle, "Coast Starlight" Seattle - (San Francisco, buss fra noen drabantby). Via Vancouver B.C.: "Maple Leaf" New York - Toronto, "Canadian" Toronto - Vancouver B.C., regiontog Vancouver B.C. - Seattle, "Coast Starlight". Både Amtraks og VIAs billetter kan kjøpes på nettet minst ni måneder i forveien.

Sorry, ikke "Twin cities" men "Lakeshore Limited". "Broadway Limited" går via Philadelphia og "Lakeshore Limited" langs med Lake Eire. "Empire Builder" har også en Portland-gren, hvis du ikke vil ta (om)veien over Seattle.
